Santa’s Salmon Place

Santa’s Salmon Place is a small wooden hut right in the middle of Santa Claus Village. I actually smelled the smoky aroma before seeing it. Here, they grill salmon over an open fire, which makes it taste especially good after spending time outside in the cold.
The menu here is simple and focuses on local ingredients from Lapland. You can sit by the fire, watch your salmon cook, and have an unforgettable meal in a warm setting. Come early, as there will be a line.
Lapland Restaurant Kotahovi
Lapland Restaurant Kotahovi is one of the most charming places to eat in Santa Claus Village. This atmospheric restaurant is small and intimate, with wooden interiors, amazing lighting, and a glowing fireplace that make it feel extra cozy.
You can order à la carte dishes, which are made with the highest level ingredients. The reindeer with mashed potatoes and the creamy salmon soup are amazing. Since the restaurant is small, it’s not the best spot for a larger group. But it’s perfect for a cozy and a relaxed meal.

All About Salmon
If you want to try great salmon, All About Salmon is right next to the Santa Claus post office and is a delicious place to have a meal. They cook their salmon over an open fire in the middle of the hut, so you can watch it as it cooks.
The menu uses local ingredients from Lapland’s forests, lakes, and wild herbs. Their à la carte menu is limited, but you can order traditional fire-grilled salmon, creamy salmon soup, and seasonal desserts. Everything reflects the local Arctic food culture.
Snow Restaurant (at Snowman World)

If you want to visit a unique restaurant, try the Snow Restaurant inside Snowman World. The whole place is built from snow and ice, with amazing snow carvings. I thought the walls looked like a frozen art gallery.
It’s right in the center of Santa Claus Village, and the best part is that they can even accommodate larger groups. Eating here feels magical, and it’s not something you get to do often!
Ice Bar of Snowman World

I really enjoyed visiting the Ice Bar inside Snowman World. It is such a unique place and feels like a frozen wonderland. The main area is a cozy bar where drinks are served in ice glasses, and there are snow carvings and glowing lights everywhere. There is a DJ and you can dance in the ice disco.
There is also a room with ice chairs and tables, which is great for photos. I recommend trying it at least once. It’s not just for adults; the whole family can enjoy the snow fun.
Indoor Café Ensilumi

Right outside Snowman World, we stopped at Café Ensilumi to warm up after the ice bar, and it was exactly what we needed. The café is cozy, with big windows looking out over the snowy village.
I had a hot chocolate, and it felt great to sit inside, warm up, and enjoy the view. It’s a perfect stop for coffee, pastries, or a quick lunch if you need a break from the cold.
Santamus

This is a traditional Nordic restaurant in the heart of Santa Claus Village. It feels like stepping into a cozy log cabin, with wooden interiors, candlelight, and an open fire. Santamus has a relaxing and warm atmosphere, and they can take groups of various sizes. The restaurant uses local ingredients and serves classic dishes like reindeer, salmon, soups, and salads.
It’s one of the most beautiful dining spaces in Lapland. In winter, they serve a buffet lunch for 29 euros.
Restaurant Stella Nova
Located in Santa’s Village, Nova Skyland restaurant offers a modern Nordic dining experience that combines local ingredients and French touches. The restaurant has enough space for families or small groups. I really like the big windows with views of the northern sky and the cozy open fire. Prices are higher, but the food and service are excellent. The hot chocolate by the fire is a must.
Restaurant Gallis
This is a beautiful fine dining restaurant of the Glass Resort, where you can stay in glass-walled apartments and glass igloos and watch the northern sky. Restaurant Gallis has an elegant design and a warm, candlelit atmosphere.
The food is beautifully presented, from dinner to the rich buffet breakfast. The menu uses local ingredients and mixes Nordic flavors with French cooking. It’s a great place to slow down and enjoy a special meal in the heart of Santa Claus Village.
Christmas House Restaurant & Coffee Bar
Located in the middle of Santa Claus Village, Christmas House Restaurant & Coffee Bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a warm, family-friendly setting. The breakfast buffet has lots of options and is good for a larger group. It’s casual, spacious, and a nice place to take a break between activities.
Three Elves Restaurant & Lobby Bar
Three Elves Restaurant is open every day from noon until late and has enough space for groups of various sizes. It has a cozy, rustic interior, and it is a great place to relax after exploring Santa Claus Village.
Santa´s Pizza & Burger
If you want something quick, Santa’s Pizza & Burger is a good casual stop in Santa Claus Village. It’s a fast-food place with lots of seating and clean facilities, perfect for a break indoors. The tasty hamburgers and french fries are good (the Lapland Burger is a must-try), and the service is fast.
Golden Bowl Dim Sum-Rovaniemi
Golden Bowl Dim Sum offers one of Finland’s northernmost Chinese culinary experiences. They serve authentic Chinese cuisine, such as dim sum, noodles, and flavorful stir-fries. This is a nice change if you want something different from local dishes.
